I’m just coming to the end of an awesome placement, in an intensive care unit. I have loved every minute of it, but I am looking forward to a break now, a few extra days off to organise my life!
I can finally allow myself the time to start thinking about Nepal again. Today I have been browsing the internet reading about the diet in Nepal. I am quite pleased to read there are a lot of vegetable and lentil dishes. I just read a tasty looking recipe for Dal Bhat and Tarkari. Apparently this is a common dish in Nepal, Dal Bhat is rice and lentils and Tarkari is a spiced vegetable side dish. I hope to attempt this one evening soon, it sounds like the kind of food I will enjoy, as long as it is not too spicy!
